Popcorn is the big, tough grain of the spawn world. Each kernel is large and packed with nutrition, so your mycelium has plenty to feed on, and the hard outer shell holds its shape through sterilisation and shaking. That means fewer burst kernels, an easy break and shake, and spawn that breaks up into clean, chunky pieces when you mix it into bulk substrate.
Every bag is hydrated, sterilised at 121°C for 2.5 hours and sealed in a genuine Unicorn bag, so it's ready for your liquid culture or spores as soon as it arrives.
How to use it
Inoculate with liquid culture or spores using clean technique, then leave the bag somewhere warm and dark to colonise. Give it a shake once the mycelium starts to spread. When it's fully colonised, mix it into our CVG substrate and you're on your way.
The Sporogenesis guarantee
We recommend keeping your bags sealed for a week after delivery before you inoculate, to confirm they're sterile. If any bag shows contamination, let us know and we'll replace it. Sterile grain is guaranteed for at least 6 weeks from delivery.
